Andrew Higgins | Paul Dowrick | Gill Miller | Louise Higgins

Andrew Higgins qualified in 1996 and has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal problems.

Currently a Senior Physiotherapist at Derriford Hospital and a Clinical Specialist in Accident and Emergency, Andrew has a specialised interest in the rehabilitation of patients following musculoskeletal sports injuries and spinal problems.
Andrew has worked part-time in private practice for the past 8 years in Hertfordshire, Ivybridge and now Plymstock.
Following qualification from Brunel University, Andrew has completed extensive post-graduate training, obtaining qualifications including Post-graduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine, Post-graduate Diploma in Injection Therapy, Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and Accredited McKenzie Physiotherapist.

Paul Dowrick qualified in 1997 from Brunel University in West London. He has worked in a variety of settings including NHS, private sector and sports teams, having a special interest in sports injuries, Paul has been the lead physiotherapist for the Devon U16 Rugby Team for the past 4 seasons and undertakes consultancy work for Newton Abbot Rugby Football Club.

With a particular interest in the management of musculoskeletal pathology, Paul employs evidence-based practice including myofascial release and acupuncture.

Paul has undertaken post-graduate education, obtaining a Certificate in Spinal Manipulation Therapy and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Gill Miller qualified from the University of Manchester in 2000 and has a wide range of experience of treating a variety of pathologies from working in the NHS and the voluntary sector.

Specialising in treating people in their own place of residence, Gill has particular interests in elderly rehabilitation, the management of long-term conditions and palliative care.

Currently Gill works as a senior Physiotherapist in the community, based at Mount Gould Hospital in Plymouth.

Louise Higgins Louise Higgins qualified in 2000 from the University of Hertfordshire and is currently developing a new service within the practice - Women's Health.

Louise has a wide range of experience treating all pathologies but has specialised in the advanced assessment and treatment of women's health conditions including ante and post-natal back and pelvic pain, pelvic floor training and abdominal exercises.
